Dr. Hona Backstrom DACM, MSTOM, LAc

Hello! My name is Hona Backstrom, a doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, and a board certified acupuncturist and herbalist. I believe in  guiding each patient on their path to well-being and empowering them to take charge of their health.

My holistic approach focuses on treating the whole body, including mental, emotional, and physical health. Raised by a Doctor of Chiropractic and a Doctor of Holistic Therapy I intuitively instill these philosophies into my practice to deepen the mind-body connection.

I completed my Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine and my Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine Chicago.
